2023.  Incense holder

An artistic project that explores memory, ritual, and the cyclical nature of destruction. Using an incense holder shaped like a map of Gaza, the piece serves as a persistent reminder of loss and resistance.The project consists of three photographs that depict the object in different contexts: as a functional incense holder, as part of an everyday ritual, and as a visual representation of destruction’s remnants. The ashes and burned incense resemble the scattered debris of buildings and lives lost, while the glowing ember symbolizes the persistence of life amid devastation.By integrating cartographic references and a meditative process, the project creates a subtle yet powerful dialogue between the personal and the political. "Destruction Loop" is not just a reminder of ongoing genocide and destruction but also a call to remember, to mourn, and to bear witness.

This intentional illusion challenges the viewer’s perception of language, identity, and political awareness.
